A coalition of unions affilited with the QFL launches a pre-election campaign to remind the damage caused by the Liberals and the damage promised by the CAQ
"Somehow, these two parties are interchangeable. We no longer count the candidates who went from the CAQ to the Liberals and visa versa. What change do we promise? This campaign does not say for whom to vote, but for whom not to vote", adds the coalition of unions.
Thousands of election signs will be installed this evening in four ridings in the province. These constituencies are: Taschereau in the Quebec City area, Pointe-aux-Trembles in the Montreal area, Roberval in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and Saint-Jérôme in the Laurentians.
Other constituencies are also targeted and the coalition will unveil the names within the next two weeks.
The coalition includes the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), the Steelworkers union, the Canadian Union of Professional and office workers (SEPB), the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers(IAMAW), the public service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Quebec Union of Service Employees (SQEES)
